The EKEN FaceBook page doesn't have the same firmware as my camera, I will have to ask support@EKEN. As the Settings show:
H8R_v4.0
STD_EKGKA
P3D7AX_171107
and there isn't such a firmware on the EKEN page The 3rd line P3D7AX_171107 does conform to the EKEN naming. The FTP site doesn't let you list the firmware versions so there is no way of telling if this is a real EKEN H8R :(

I got mine too. We havr thr same firmware of eken h8r. I have a problem with my camera, whenever i use the photo mode, 4k, 1080p30fps too much exposure of light but if i only use 1080p60fps the video quality is quite good. Does you camera have problems?
I've the same problem. Did you find a solution?
EKEN didn't write back so I am still not knowing for sure. However I might be able to download my firmware by deconstructing the URL for the ftp site like so: take the latest URL for the Facebook page

anyhow I haven't gotten that do download from the ftp.eken.com site, not sure what to replace 64M with?
find any firmware for this model? i have the same cam and tried to update, resulting in bricked camera.:(

1. it's real
2. the important part is H8R and v4.0 and GKA - when looking for the correct firmware (recovery etc)
there are NO image related improvements in ANY Eken firmwares - ONLY sd card and hardware substitution compatibility changes
if it's working LEAVE IT ALONE !!
