Burry the bad stuff in lots of text
One if the most alarming developments I see in taking a corporate job, is the 3 Megs of attachements I should print and sign, FedEx back to the company signing away my right to a court hearing, and all kinds of things that I might otherwise be entitled too. Of course only an insane person spends a day reading the package to see all this alarming stuff in there. Most sign without reading any of it, just like when we buy a house. You have to give this to an attorney if you really want it read, no one has the time. I doubt that they will be malicious, but I guess they have had to part with malicious employees before and are making the case air tight before the lawsuit comes. Startups seem to have a very clear 1 page contract.
